This online privacy statement is intended to inform you of the ways in which this web site collects information, the uses to which that information will be put, and the ways in which we protect any information you choose to provide us.
Information Provided by You to Decision Partners
Decision Partners services provided to individuals are entirely commerce-free, meaning there is no advertising or paid referrals to external websites. Decision Partners never uses personal information for any purpose other than providing the best financial education possible. Our sole source of revenue is licensing our financial education platform to organizations wishing to provide our service to their members, employees or customers.
When using this web site, you may choose to provide us with information to help us serve your needs. For example, you may send us an email to request information or to retrieve a forgotten password. Any personally identifiable information you send us will be used only for the purpose indicated. Requests for information will be directed to the appropriate staff member to respond to the request. Records associated with your request may be recorded to help us maintain high levels of customer service and to better respond to similar requests in the future.
We will not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information without your consent, except to the extent required by law. We do not retain user information longer than necessary for normal operations and user accounts can be deleted in their entirety upon request. Users can update their personal information by clicking on each site's "My Account" or "Preferences" page.
While Decision Partners does allow sponsoring organizations to place their logo on certain websites, at no time are any products or services that may be offered by that organization included in Decision Partners curricula.
User Data Available to Course Administrators

Financial Counseling / Data Sharing Option
Some Decision Partners websites offer organizations the capability of allowing users to opt-in to sharing select personal information from the site with their course administrator(s). This feature is intended to assist organizations in providing personalized financial counseling services to site users. Sharing is always disabled by default - users must choose to participate by updating their sharing preference on their "Preferences" page.
If the sharing option is enabled, users can choose to share the following information with their program administrator:
- Monthly budget
- Financial goals
- Course survey answers
- Checklist items
- Financial health assessment
- Saved content and notes taken by the user
Program administrators are prohibited from requiring users to share personal information. Sharing is always optional and is intended for use as a tool in one-to-one financial education sessions between the user and his or her program administrator.
Since this option is available only if it is enabled by the sponsoring organization, not all users will see this option on their Account Preferences page.
If your school enables federal student loan entrance and/or exit counseling, we also collect all data as mandated by federal requirements. For a complete list of data that is currently collected, please contact us.

Further, Decision Partners will ensure that any aggregate information is provided only after a sufficient number of users have registered for services at a particular institution. This policy protects individual identities from being inferred based on login time, course completion time, or other data.
